Greg Stahl Several years ago I attempted to keep live plants, but every attempt met with the same disastrous result. One day, while browsing through the local fish store, I came upon the books: "The optimum Aquarium" and "Nature Aquarium World" The images alone in Amano's book sold me, and the dealer told me the Dupla book would tell me how to get the same results, so I bought them and took my new findings with me back to Madison where I was a student. After studying the books for hours, I could not wait to get going! Unfortunately, it took several years before I would again be able to keep an aquarium. About a year or so ago, I stopped by Aquatic Specialties in Madison, and met a fine gentleman who described what I would have to do to get my aquarium up and running. I was aw-struck by the 75g tank he was working on at the time. I knew I would have to start saving money to pursue my dream. Finally, much later, I had the spare cash to get set up, mind you I had to do it economically! After getting the tank up and running, I searched the internet for aquarium plant clubs, specifically looking for the club in Madison I had heard about at Aquatic Specialties. Found-it! Updated Pictures: Aquarium Info: Tank Size: 75-gallon Current Plans: To have fun!
