Diet:will eat pretty much anything offered to it. However, like most rainbowfish, you should take care that there is some vegetable matter provided in the diet in the form of a good veggie flake and/or skinned green peas. Temperament:very peaceful and active. should be kept in schools of 3 or more. will not bother other types of fish and will school with rainbows of the same family that are of similar size. Sexing: Breeding:egg scatterer. The male will put on a display for the female by brightening its colours and flaring fins while circling her. if she is receptive to the display, they will scatter eggs over an available plant, or a wool spawining mop. the eggs are large and firm, but the fry small and somewhat difficult to raise.
