Diet:will accept a wide variety of foods. No problems with it eating prepared foods. No special considerations need to be taken except that there should be some form of vegetable matter in the diet from time to time in the form of a good veggie flake or skinned green peas. Temperament:the female is generally peaceful to all, but the male can be somewhat territorial to other male rainbowfish. however this only results in threat displays which are quite beautiful, very similar to the mating displays. I have never had a rainbowfish injured in any confrontation.
